Dr Natasha Cica is the founding Director of Kapacity.org.
Natasha has provided professional services to the British Council, the Goethe-Institut, the Salzburg Global Seminar in Austria, the EU’s Human Cities initiative, and to Australian governments at Federal, State and local level.
She began her career in corporate law, and has led and supported a range of capacity-building initiatives in partnership with entrepreneurs across the business sector and civil society.
In 2017-18 Natasha was the CEO of Heide Museum of Modern Art in Melbourne, Australia.
In 2013 Natasha was recognised by the Australian Financial Review and Westpac banking group as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence in the category of innovation. She was an inaugural recipient of a Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship in 2011, rewarding outstanding talent and exceptional courage. She is an award-winning author, broadcaster and public commentator.
Until 2014 Natasha was founding director of the Inglis Clark Centre, which she established to advance the University of Tasmania’s engagement agenda.
Natasha holds a doctorate in law from the University of Cambridge, a masters in law and ethics from King’s College London, and a BA LLB (Hons) from the Australian National University.
She has been a Visiting Academic at the Alvar Aalto Academy in Helsinki, and a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. Since 2015 Natasha has been an Honorary Professor at the ANU College of Law at the Australian National University.
